WELCOME TO THE SUNDAY ROCK ATV CLUB

ESTABLISHED JUNE 30, 2003
TO PROMOTE SAFE AND LEGAL ATVING

OUR CLUB RULES:
 1.  All drivers & passengers must wear proper protective clothing.
 2.  All lights and brakes must be in good working condition.
 3.  All members must follow all DMV, DEC, local and state laws.
 4.  You must have all ATV's registered and insured.
 5.  Do not exceed speeds deemed reasonable for conditions.
 6.  Respect the landowners' property and rights.
 7.  Preach to others our purpose and goals.
 8.  Travel must not exceed 15 mph through village limits.
 9.  Do not drive on the sidewalks.
10. Yield to pedestrians.

Remember: What you take in, you must take out!

We encourage anybody that doesn't wish to join a club to obey the above rules for their own safety and that of others. It also generates goodwill for all ATV riders. It hurts our sport when people drive recklessly and gives ATVers a bad name.

Sunday Rock ATV Club Meetings are the first Thursday of each month at the Community Center in South Colton.

The next meeting is March 1 at 7:00 PM. Please plan to attend - we need everyone to pitch in and work on ATVing opportunities in our area.

As always, we are looking for new members. With so many ATV issues on the table we need riders to get organized. There is strength in numbers and we need your support.

As you probably already know, Parishville ATV Club have done a lot of work on opening up their roads and trails.  There will be a Public Hearing at the Parishville Town Hall on February 28 at 7:00 p.m. concerning their proposals.  If you cannot make the meeting, please either write or send an e-mail supporting them.  The e-mail address is Town of Parishville.  The address is Parishville Town Hall, Attention: Jerry Moore, PO Box 155, Parishville, NY 13672.  You must give your name and address in your letters and e-mails.

What's Happening!

Pierrepont and Brasher have both closed down their roads to ATV travel.  We are hoping to get the proper paperwork together to get Colton roads along with the other towns open to ATV travel at least on some roads.  Parishville is working on a plan with St. Lawrence Co. Legislators to have their roads open.  Keep supporting your ATV clubs and they will keep working for you.
